Computer Learning Apple Computers (age 50 and up) These programs take place in Classroom 302. Introduction to iPad, iPhone FREE & iPod Touch, The Basics The iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch are creating a revolution in computers and the way we live. Al- though similar devices are made by several manu- facturers, this course will focus on products from Apple to illustrate their capabilities and underlying concepts. This workshop will show you how you can share the digital photographs you've taken with your iPhone, iPod or iPad using Apple's free Shared Photo Stream feature. We will cover how to set up this feature, how to add pho - tos and how to let your friends know when there are new photos. In the three classes, you will learn: 1) the basics of the Macintosh operating system, including file system, menus and preferences, 2) using the included ap - plications and 3) using the online Mac App Store, and other trusted sources, to obtain applications and the best ways to purchase a Mac. You will be provided with the course slides for your later refer- ence. Bring your Mac laptop. You will be shown how to set up an account and make the best use of the service. 77508 Wed Oct 8 1:30-4 p.m. 77507 Wed Nov 5 1:30-4 p.m. Going Further with the iPad, FREE iPhone & iPad Touch You know the basics and are now ready to go to the next level. This course will show you how to sync with your Mac or PC, get your contacts transferred, and create contact groups and calendars. You will be shown how to use Facetime and the App Store. We will also discuss various book readers and how to borrow ebooks from the Wake County Library.
