Students who wish to make good use of the In- ternet to obtain information should find this class very useful. 77542 Tue/Thu Oct 14-16 9:30 a.m.-noon Home Networking If you have more than one computer in your home, you might want to network them together so they can share files, printers and Internet access. This workshop will introduce you to the basics of creat- ing a home network using wires or wireless. 77543 Wed Sep 17 9:30 a.m.-noon Video Phoning Friends & Family Would you like to see your friends and family when you are talking to them over long distance? You can using your computer! Come learn how to have a voice and video conversation over the Internet using your computer. Best of all, there is no cost for the software or the Internet "call" using Skype! 77546 Mon Sep 29 9:30 a.m.-noon Controlling Your FREE Online Identity This introduction seminar will teach you how to protect your computer. Firewalls and other pro- tective measures will be covered. These will help you make your computer safe while accessing the Internet.
