Volunteer Opportunities 60 September–December 2014 Cary Senior Center Volunteer Sewing Group Volunteers sew, knit and crochet a variety of dolls, quilts, and other goodies to be donated to local hospitals and care centers! More volunteers are always welcome, please join us in giving! Dona- tions of clean acrylic yarns, cotton cloth and other items are needed. Please check with the Cary Se- nior Center front desk for details by calling (919) 469-4081. Location: Ballroom Every Monday 9-11:30 a.m. (no meeting 9/1) Warm Up America Grab your knitting needles, scrap yarn and warm heart! Help knit and crochet warm blankets that will be donated to a variety of charities in the area. Your self-expression provides warmth and hope for so many. Some yarn will be provided; dona - tions accepted. Location: Conference Room 77765 3rd Thursday Monthly 1-4 p.m. C-Tran, Cary's door-to-door bus service, is available to Cary citizens 60+ and disabled.
