SPECIAL INTERESTS REGISTER ONLINE: 127 PART TWO Workshops on Improving Your Bridge Bidding and Play (age 16 & up) Whether you're an occasional social bridge player or regular duplicate player, you can benefit from this series of bridge lessons from an ACBL-Certified Bridge Instructor. These are "Play and Learn" lessons, with emphasis on basic bridge concepts that will improve your skills and performance. Intended for novice through intermediate players. Your Mad Scientists will explore Earth Science, weather phenomena, and experiment with some kitchen chemistry! Children will build their own Mad Science Machine, and create their very own short animated cartoon! We will focus on minimizing frustrations, precisely articulating feelings and issues, and strategies for communicating. This course is taught by a group of instructors with degrees in teaching and psychology, allowing them to provide insight from a variety of perspectives. Location: Herbert C. LEARNING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM Duplicate Bridge at Middle Creek Tuesdays and Thursdays are bridge days at the Middle Creek Community Center. Take advantage of some pregame instruction, and then enjoy an American Contract Bridge League-sanctioned game.
