These are "Play and Learn" lessons, with emphasis on basic bridge concepts that will improve your skills and performance. Intended for novice through intermediate players. Your Mad Scientists will explore Earth Science, weather phenomena, and experiment with some kitchen chemistry! Children will build their own Mad Science Machine, and create their very own short animated cartoon! Location: Bond Park Community Center Instructor: Mad Science Fees: $147(R) $177(N) (8 classes) 81384 Tue Jan 13–Mar 3 4:30–5:30 p.m. Workshops Effectively Communicating with Your Student about Their Education (age 18 & up) Join us for a presentation and discussion about effective strategies to use when communicating with your child. We will focus on minimizing frustrations, precisely articulating feelings and issues, and strategies for communicating. This course is taught by a group of instructors with degrees in teaching and psychology, allowing them to provide insight from a variety of perspectives. Location: Herbert C. LEARNING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM Duplicate Bridge at Middle Creek Tuesdays and Thursdays are bridge days at the Middle Creek Community Center. Take advantage of some pregame instruction, and then enjoy an American Contract Bridge League-sanctioned game.
