SCHOOL'S OUT! 142 REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org PART TWO Track-Out Sports Camp (grade K–6) A great introduction to a wide variety of sports and recreational activities for kids! Campers will learn the basic skills of popular sports, plus experience non-traditional sports. Campers will get the opportunity to learn & practice new skills as well as participate in some friendly competition. Location: Herbert C. Build a telescope, rocket, and robot, then take them home with you for continued exploration. Campers will take a site field trip to a planetarium or science museum. Drop your child off between 8-8:30 a.m. to be transported by van to camp. Campers will return to be picked up between 5-5:30 p.m. Van leaves promptly at 8:30 a.m. and cannot wait for campers. Campers will learn the skills necessary to produce a top-quality video game. They'll compare and contrast 5 video game genres and learn how autonomy, competency and relatedness are used in game design. Campers also code their own game. If your child is currently enrolled in a non-Wake County Public School but meets the grade requirement of for the camp, please bring in proof of enrollment/grade in order to register. Walk-in registration will be required for this. Track-Out Day Camp (grade K–6) We provide an exciting atmosphere for K-6 students with highly organized activities such as arts and crafts, sports and games, recreational/educational field trips and much more! Our program is staffed with caring and experienced counselors. Please send your child with a lunch and 2 snacks daily.
