Hardwood floors, high ceilings, large windows and fine art provide an intimate and charming setting. The Page-Walker's beautifully landscaped garden area is a popular site for wedding ceremonies. The Page-Walker was built in 1868 and is listed on the National Register for Historic Places. Today the Center is alive with classes, events, performances, meetings and art exhibitions. Cary Arts Center 101 Dry Avenue | (919) 469-4069 The Cary Arts Center is dedicated to the visual and performing arts. The 48,000 square foot facility features a 425-seat theatre, specialized arts studios (clay, jewelry, glass, textiles, wood working), gallery space, and performance production labs. The Center provides programming space for the town's extensive performing arts and visual and craft arts programs. The theatre and select rooms and spaces are available for rent. There is a two-hour minimum rental for non-theatre rooms and a five-hour minimum rental for the theatre. • An additional $25 per hour is charged for rentals outside normal operating hours.
