In this class, you will learn to make assorted St. Patty's Day goodies in cookie form. At the end of class, you will have 6 cookies to take home. 83045 Wed Mar 11 5–6:30 p.m. • EASTER COOKIE DECORATING Easter eggs don't have to always be chocolate. In this class, you will learn to make super fun Easter cookies including bunnies, Easter eggs and some gorgeous spring flowers. At the end of the class, you will have 6 cookies to take home. 83046 Wed Apr 1 5–6:30 p.m. Cookie College (age 11–17) Learn how to bake delicious cookies and take them to the next level! Three classes teach you basics of flooding and piping simple cookies to creating little masterpieces. At the end of each class, you'll have cookies to take home to impress your family and friends! Young Community Center Instructor: Karen Bond, Trilogy Edibles Fees: $72(R) $93(N) (3 classes) 83043 Wed May 13–27 5–6:30 p.m. Adult Edible Creations (age 16 & up) Learn to create edible glass-like creations made from unflavored gelatin, gum paste, water, and food color. Make a basic five petal flower, leaves, and a butterfly that can be used to adorn cakes, cupcakes, or used in a table centerpiece. Wow your friends and family with this truly innovative art form! $20 supply fee payable to instructor at the first class. Location: Herbert C. Classic quiche Lorraine for two, orange and cranberry muffins, fresh farmer's salad with strawberries topped with walnuts and a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich to end the day. 82482 Sat May 9 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m. • MOTHER'S DAY SPECIAL Students will create homemade chicken potpies with fresh vegetables in a savory sauce topped with a buttery pastry, mixed green salad with shaved parmesan and a vinaigrette dressing. Techniques include silhouettes, wet-on- wet, and others to create gorgeous and delicious cookies.
