Singing, dancing, and your favorite instruments—fiddles, bagpipes, and more—in the Celtic tradition. Cary Road Race Saturday, April 11 | 8:30 a.m. Koka Booth Amphitheatre Pre-registration: $12 recreational, $15 competitive Race-Day: $15 recreational, $20 competitive The 37th Annual Cary Road Race is a family event that includes a 5K, a 10K and a 1 mile Fun Run. The course is a challenging route over rolling city asphalt streets and around the lake at scenic Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Registration opens December 1. To volunteer, call (919) 469-4062. The Cary Teen Council hosts Breakfast with the Easter Bunny prior to Cary's morning Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny is available for pictures/videos for ticket holders during this time. Pre-sale tickets are required—there will be no tickets sold the morning of the breakfast. Tickets go on sale Monday, March 2 at the Herbert C. Young Community Center. Bond Metro Park The Town of Cary's 24th Annual Easter Egg Hunt features 3 hunt areas, each for a different age group. After scouting the field for candy and toy eggs, join Scott Shelton for a wonderfully entertaining magic show loaded with laughs and audience participation. Bring your own Easter Basket and come early for good parking!
