Join us for a catered meal served by the Cary Teen Council followed by the Artie Shaw Orchestra. This show is one of the "swingingest" outfits around. Featuring lean-toned clarinetist Matt Koza, the group hews to Artie Shaw's legacy, and continues with the time-tested formula that has always pleased a variety of audiences, from the fans of yester year to the new jazz followers who want to experience an exciting and heady evening of swing. Then you're sure to fall head over heels for our Valentine's Tea. Registration is required by February 5. Location: Ballroom Fees: $10 (per person) 80518 Fri Feb 13 2- 4 p.m. 50 + Line Dancing Gone Green Line dance to your favorite tunes this spring by wearing green! Open to all who love to dance no matter if you have never taken classes. Some instruction will be provided but mostly everyone is invited to jump right in with both feet and enjoy the night! Light hor d' oeuvres will be provided. Registration is required by February 28. Location: Ballroom Fees: $10 (per person) 80521 Wed Mar 11 6- 8:30 p.m. Annual Health Fair Join Resources for Seniors, Inc. and the Cary Senior Center for our annual Health Fair! Local health and wellness experts, health screenings, pharmacy consultations and more! Appointments required for some health screenings. Please register in advance. Location: Ballroom 80520 Thu Mar 19 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. 50 + FREE! Healthy Requests! The Cary Senior Center offers a vegetarian and diabetic option for all events featuring food. We also have 'Heart Healthy' options (low sodium, low fat) as well. You will be asked at registration your preference for our meal programs.
