Creating ACTIVE Retirement Years (919) 469-4081 63 Registration Information Important Information for Cary Senior Center Participants REGISTRATION PROCESS All activities, classes and events, require registration. After registering, you will receive a confirmation, which you need to keep as a reminder. All programs with a fee must be paid for in full at registration. Be sure to register early as many programs have limited space! Call (919) 469-4081 for more information on any of these programs. HOW TO REGISTER 1. Mail in the Registration Form found in this brochure or at the Cary Senior Center. 2. Bring in the Registration Form to the Cary Senior Center. 3. EZ-REG Phone Registration* and 4. EZ-REG Web Registration* at http://classweb.townofcary.org * To use either EZ-REG Phone or Web, you need a personal access code (PIN Number). Stop by the Cary Senior Center and request your PIN today! WHEN TO REGISTER • Cary Resident EZ Reg Web, EZ Reg Mail- In, EZ Reg Phone: December 1 • Nonresident Registration begins: December15 Please note that our mailing address is: PO Box 8005 • Cary, NC 27512-8005 AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR PROGRAMS The CARY SENIOR PROGRAM serves all citizens ages 55 and older regardless of residency. SeniorNet and AARP programs are open to adults 50 plus. Legal Aid is for ages 60 plus only. All programs take place at the Cary Senior Center unless otherwise noted. DON'T WAIT Please register early to allow us time to plan appropriately. Often we are able to accommodate those on waiting lists by adding additional spots in the class or adding additional classes. Classes that do not meet their minimum enrollment are generally canceled; you could make the difference. REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS A participant wishing to withdraw from a class, program or league that has not been canceled by PRCR must request to be withdrawn in writing at least one week before the scheduled start of a class, program or league's first practice. The participant will receive, at the discretion of the participant, either a 100% account credit or a refund less a withdrawal fee. Exception: Adult sports team registration fees are not refundable unless the league is canceled by PRCR. A participant may request a withdrawal due to an unforeseen medical or hardship condition less than one week prior to the class, program, or league or during the course of the activity. The request must be made in writing. The participant may receive a full or prorated refund or account credit based on a case by case review. Refunds for payments made by check cannot be processed for three weeks from date payment was made. Refunds may not be given for trips. TOWN OF CARY UTILITY PAYMENT BOX There is a drop box for utility bill payments in the Cary Senior Center parking lot. The box is emptied every weekday at 8 a.m. and again at 2 p.m. The Town still has the payment drop box on Town Hall campus outside Building A on the railroad tracks side.
