6 January–May 2015 Cary Senior Center Trips All trips leave from the Cary Senior Center. Return times are approximate. Space is limited and cost only covers admissions/ transportation. See each description for details. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes! Register early, as reservations must be made and paid in advance for confirmation. No refunds for cancellations. Scheduled arrival time is when you must be at the Senior Center, not the departure time. Friday Favorites: Beethoven's 7th The NC Symphony is a full-time, professional orchestra with its home in Raleigh's spectacular Meymandi Concert Hall. This program is titled Beethoven's 7th. Enjoy a lovely brunch with friends prior to the show at a local restaurant in Raleigh. Trip fee includes transportation and concert ticket, brunch is on your own. Reserve your seat by February 12. Fees: $345(R) $46(N) (per person) 83795 Fri Feb 27 9:15 a.m. - 2 p.m. Trips Goats & Circle City The Celebrity Dairy Farm is our destination in Siler City. A beautiful and fun tour of this goat farm will include a delicious lunch. A short drive to historic Pittsboro, know as Circle City, to tour the recently rebuilt 1881 courthouse that is the showcase of this growing town. Weather permitting, time for shopping along the unique and quaint shops that line the downtown streets. Dress for the weather, extensive walking on uneven ground. Fee includes transportation, lunch and tours, gratuities and purchases are extra. Register by March 11. Fees: $60(R) $78(N) (per person) 83796 Thu Mar 26 9:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. The Temple Theatre Presents Hairspray Enjoy a lovely lunch at Mrs. Lacy's Magnolia House in Sandord, NC followed by the musical Hairspray, where you will take a step back to 1962. Meet Tracy Turnblad, a large girl with big hair and a kind heart, with only one passion— dance! She wins a spot on a local TV dance program, and is quickly transformed into a teen celebrity. She then successfully sets out to vanquish the program's reigning princess, win the heart of the super handsome Link Larkin, and racially integrate the television show.
