16 June-August 2015 Cary Senior Center Computer Learning A Computer Learning APPLE COMPUTERS These programs take place in Classroom 302. Introduction to iOS: The Basics Although devices similar to these iOS devices are made by several manufacturers, this course will focus on products from Apple (iPad, iPhone & iPod Touch). This course will show you how to set up these devices and provide a brief overview of the many applications (apps) available. Please bring your device. 85213 Wed Jun 24 1:30-4 p.m. 85214 Wed Jul 8 1:30-4 p.m. FREE! SENIORNET Volunteer instructors take you step by step through various Computer Skills! Membership to SeniorNet (national organization) is strongly encouraged. Seminars will be held in the media room for student enrollments of 12 or less and in classroom 302 when enrollments are larger. Some SeniorNet courses are taught as a series, such as Computer Skills 1& 2. Students must take these courses in order, unless waived by the SeniorNet Coordinator or the Instructor. If you feel qualified to omit one of these courses, call the Senior Center. Location: Media Room Computer Club The Computer Club membership consists of local seniors, 55 years old or above. Meetings are held the second Saturday of each month at 1:30pm at the Cary Senior Center, in classroom 302. Meetings revolve around a presentation by members or outside speakers on computer related topics of general interest to the members. Presentations have covered Windows, Macintosh and Linux computers.
