42 June-August 2015 Cary Senior Center Fun and Games Drop-in Activities FREE Drop-In Activities are available to adults 55 plus to enjoy onsite while the center is open to the public. HORSESHOES Challenge your friends to a fun and friendly game of horseshoes. You can even practice for your next competition or outing. Check out shoes from the front desk and use one or both pits in the courtyard. BOCCE Bocce is one of the most popular precision sports played throughout the world. Hone your skills without leaving the Center. Check out a bocce set from the front desk and play in the courtyard. JIGSAW PUZZLES Lend a hand with the most current public jigsaw puzzle. There are many puzzles on hand to maximize fun and enjoyment. Help with one piece or do it all yourself. Do as little or as much as you want. PUZZLE BOOKS A variety of puzzle books are available for use only in the Media Center. Try your hand at Sudoku, word finds, crossword puzzles and more. Open Jam—Folk Music Bring your acoustic instrument and desire to meet others who love folk music! This weekly group is open to anyone with an interest in music and having a great time. Singers and audience members are welcome as well! Location: Classroom 302 84617 Every Wednesday 7- 9 p.m. Fun Fiddlers Practice Session This group is for anyone who is interested in learning to play fiddle tunes in a group. All are welcome! Meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. Location: Conference Room 84618 2nd & 4th Monday 7- 8:45 p.m. Saturday Matinée Movies Join us for an afternoon of fun and watching the latest blockbuster movie. After the movie, stick around and discuss with the others what you just saw on the large- screen television. All movies are based on availability and could change without notice.
