Preschool Lil' Cooks in the Kitchen (age 3-5) Kids discover the fun of cooking along with storybook characters who cook up the same thing they are! Marshmallows for Martians by Adam Guillan will help us learn about the martians' tastebuds. Little Red Hen does and you will hear about the twists and turns of the hen's journey of making a pizza. Join us in the kitchen for the tale of Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin as we make our own yummy tacos. 84811 Fri Aug 14 10-11:30 a.m. Youth Grand Cooking Adventure (Grandparent age 55+ & Grandchild age 6-10) Get wrapped up in cooking using fresh seasonal foods to create wraps for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and on-the-go meals! The program fee covers the cost of one grandparent and one grandchild. Location: Cary Senior Center, Kitchen Instructor: Carrie DiPietro Fees: $26(R) $34(N) (per couple) 85228 Tue Jun 9 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Teen July 4 th Cookie Decorating (age 11-17) You will use multiple techniques to create Independence Day-themed cookies. You will learn several techniques, including silhouettes, wet on wet, and other methods to creating gorgeous and delicious cookies. At the end of class, you will have six cookies to take home.
