REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org 45 A Nature Education Nature education programs take place at the Stevens Nature Center at Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve unless noted. Preschool Nature Nature Nuts (age 3-5 with a parent) You and your preschooler will go nutty for nature as children satisfy their curiosity about the world around them and parents share in the joy of discovery! Each session starts with a book about the topic, then a brief investigative walk, and simple craft inspired by the theme of the class. Non-registered siblings are not permitted. Can foxes climb trees? Why do birds migrate? Having trouble with answering your child's wildlife questions? Let us do it for you! Each session zeros in on specific creatures. Children learn how to identify animals, their habitats, and their daily habits through hikes, activities, and crafts. Children are dropped off for these programs. Often times we are able to accommodate those on waiting lists by adding additional spots in the class or adding additional classes. Classes that do not meet their minimum enrollment are generally cancelled, you could make the difference. DON'T WAIT!
