Starlight Concert Series The Starlight Concert Series is a lively collection of free concerts that takes place in the beautiful gardens of the Page-Walker Arts & History Center on the fourth Friday of the month, May-September. Bring your friends and a picnic and enjoy music by starlight. Co-sponsored by the Town of Cary, Friends of Page-Walker, and the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music. A Celebration of Bluegrass Friday, June 26 | 7 p.m. | Free PineCone partners again with the Page-Walker to present an evening of traditional bluegrass music. Arrive early to hear the students of our Bluegrass Camp show off their skills in a performance at 6 p.m. Stay to hear Bluegrass Camp instructors and internationally-renowned musicians Charles Pettee, Pattie Hopkins, and Lynda Dawson as they delight you with bluegrass and American folk music. Founded in 1991 by saxophonist Bobby Moody, the group has continued to evolve and grow musically, performing primarily jazz, but also rhythm and blues. Jamrock Friday, August 28 | 7 p.m. | Free Starlight Concert favorite Jamrock returns to fill the air with their authentic reggae rhythms. Rock out with "Yard Style" reggae, including Lovers Rock, Oldies, Dancehall, and Roots music. Celebrate the band's Jamaican influence and origins while you're jammin', mon!" Craicdown Friday, September 25 | 7 p.m. | Free Enjoy Craicdown's unique "World Acousticana" style— acoustic roots music with a high-energy, rock-inspired flair. Their repertoire includes pieces ranging in style from Americana to reggae-sounding vocals, from Celtic-influenced jigs and reels to the music of Brazil and Argentina.
