34 September-December 2015 Cary Senior Center Fitness & Wellness Tap Program Get your feet moving to the music with one of our tap classes. Must wear appropriate shoes for these programs. Wear tap shoes or hard soled shoes for the first class, tap shoes (available from any local dance store) will be discussed the first day. Program takes place September 2 through December 16. Instructor: Connie Belton BEGINNING TAP Get your heart a-pumping and your feet a-tapping as you learn basic tap steps that build into simple dance routines. What a way to tap into life! 87992 Every Wednesday 2- 2:50 p.m. (no class 10/21, 11/11, 11/25) TAP, THE NEXT LEVEL You've practiced your shuffles and can flap with the best of them. Now is the time to challenge those feet with tried and true tap combinations. Whether a Buck Time Step, Soft Shoe Essence or an intermediate combo, you'll practice rhythm and foot memory as you tap your way to good health. 87993 Every Wednesday 3- 3:50 p.m. (no class 10/21, 11/11, 11/25) FREE! Fitness PASS • Do you want to start a new fitness program but aren't sure which program is right for you? • Are you looking for an extra workout? • Does your schedule vary? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the fitness pass may be just the ticket for you! You now have the option to try a variety of fitness programs at the Cary Senior Center with one pass! Look for the fitness pass icon to see which fitness classes are available. Classes are subject to availability and cancellation. Call the Cary Senior Center to confirm class status. Space in the program is subject to availability. There is no expiration on fitness passes! Fitness pass holders may now use their pass for Fitness Pass classes at the three community centers (does not include Wellness Pass classes). Resident Nonresident One visit $5 $6 5-visit pass $25 $30 10-visit pass $40 $52 • No credits, refunds, or transfers on Fitness Passes; these never expire! Don't forget your exercise equipment! Proper shoes and clothing attire is required for all fitness classes. It is always a good idea to bring a water bottle and a towel. Additional equipment may be necessary for a class so please have that equipment ready to use on the first day. This information will be noted on the receipt when registering.
