4 September-December 2015 Cary Senior Center Special Events Annual Veterans Luncheon (age 18 and up) Join the Town of Cary as we honor all Veterans during this annual luncheon event. A patriotic program, catered lunch, and entertainment await you. Donations are welcome. To reserve your spot, register by October 23. Location: Herbert C. We will be having a wonderful celebration! Appetizers, music, dancing, and giveaways! Register by November 25 Location: Ballroom 87122 Fri Dec 4 6:30- 8:30 p.m. Holiday Potluck Celebration It's that most wonderful time of year when the Cary Senior Center hosts a holiday event filled with an afternoon of festivities and fellowship. Bring a dish to share and for those wishing to participate in the gift exchange, please bring a newly purchased wrapped gift value of $5- $10. Register by December 4. "Eye of newt, and toe of frog, wool of bat, and tongue of dog!" – what possible surprises will we brew? Definitely tasty treats and hot teas, or maybe some lizard legs and spider knees. You'll want to join us for a ghostly good time! Costumes are welcome but not required! To reserve your spot register by October 23. Location: Ballroom Fees: $10 (per person) 85546 Fri Oct 30 2- 4 p.m. Cary Yoga Day Experience the first ever TOC Yoga Day in beautiful Bond Park! Town of Cary Yoga Instructors are offering sample sessions between 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday, September 12 on the spillway in Bond Park (by the lake!). Join us to try several different styles and types of yoga in a serene park atmosphere. All ages, all abilities are welcome. There will even be a kids-yoga zone! Learn more about the many different styles of yoga the Town of Cary offers. Bring your matt or use one of ours. More details in August. Saturday, September 12 9 a.m.-noon Location: Bond Park Spillway Rain Location: Bond Park Community Center FREE! Healthy Requests! The Cary Senior Center offers a vegetarian and diabetic option for all events featuring food. We also have 'Heart Healthy' options (low sodium, low fat) as well. You will be asked at registration your preference for our meal programs. Please let us know if (and HOW) we can expand our Healthy Options for YOU!
