Boating Boating Skills & Seamanship (age 14 & up) Presented by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, this course applies to new boat owners and experienced boaters wanting to expand their knowledge. Topics include nautical language, types of boats, powerboat handling, safety and legal requirements, navigation rules, inland boating, and more. There is no charge to fish from shore. All NC fishing regulations apply. North Carolina requires anyone 16 or older to have a fishing license. Fishing Clinic (age 6 & up) Bring your rod and come learn the basics of fishing! Learn how to set up a fishing pole, bait a hook using live bait, cast a rod and reel, identify fish, plus learn a little about safety and conservation.
