Discovery Days Mini Camps (age 5–12) Where has all the time gone? This is how our instructors feel at times in our shorter programs. Sometimes we just want to hike farther, delve deeper, or create a bigger, better project. These camps give children the chance to get to know each other, their instructor, and Nature Preserve plants and animals a little better. Location: Stevens Nature Center at Hemlock Bluffs Fees: $54(R) $68(N) (3 classes) IT'S A BUG'S LIFE (AGE 5–7) Insects, spiders and millipedes, oh my! Get them to Fitness Challenge Camp! Eat healthy, get to bed early, and get ready to be challenged! Tumbling, hip hop, and endless skills across the floor, wacky relays and games will pump them up and wear them out! Location: Herbert C. Young Community Center Instructor: Maggie Witter Fees: $58(R) $74(N) (2 classes) 87716 Mon-Tue Dec 21–22 9 a.m.–noon TO Harry Potter (age 5–10) Calling all Muggles! Experience the world of wizardry in a very fun way at Harry Potter Camp. You might just discover the chamber of secrets and unlock a new kind of fun. Location: Herbert C. Young Community Center Instructor: Maggie Witter Fees: $58(R) $74(N) (2 classes) 87718 Mon-Tue Dec 21–22 1–4 p.m. TO Foods Around the World (age 7–10) Travel around the world with Chef Laura as you cook up something good from three different countries.
