Continued development of proper pitching mechanics and an introduction to pitch selections are covered. Proper arm care will be discussed. The focus will be on the position of catcher. This clinic is for participants interested in becoming elite players on the competitive level. Protective equipment is encouraged. Mechanics from the wind up and the stretch will be taught and reviewed. Defensive responsibilities will also be reviewed as a part of this clinic targeted for participants who want to become effective pitchers on a competitive stage. Proper arm care will be discussed. Mechanics will be taught along with understanding what it takes mentally to be a pitcher. Drills will be taught that participants can utilize on their own time. Proper arm care will also be covered. No competitive experience is required.
