C-Tran Ridership Activity Fixed Route Ridership Door-to-Door Ridership General Public Shuttles 59,360 10,225 16,012 A record 16,012 general public shuttle trips were provided for multiple Town-sponsored events that were open to the public. As a major partner with Lazy Daze, Town staff worked on shuttle logistics at the new festival site. C-Tran provided a new record of shuttle trips (13,642 one-way trips) for this event. Transit staff continues to be involved with the Wake Transit Investment Strategy planning. Wake County staff has indicated they anticipate a draft plan being released in December 2015. C-Tran has received delivery on two new medium- duty buses, to be incorporated into the fleet under the current contract. These vehicles will provide enhanced safety, security, comfort and convenience for the system's passengers. The buses will enter operation in November 2015.
