Community Center Program Revenue Community Center Attendance +8.3% +3.4% Did You Know? "Dogs with Dad" was held in July and celebrated Father-Child bonding by paddling on Bond Lake followed by a hotdog dinner and craft. Approximately 30 children attended with their Dads'. Two new family-friendly events were hosted at Bond Park. "S'More Fun with Mom" was held in August and provided moms and their sons to enjoy the outdoors together. S'More Fun was attended by 34 mother/sons to enjoy s'mores, a nature hike and activities. Environmental Programs 60 volunteers participated in National Public Lands Day by mulching trails and planting native plants in the wildlife garden. The Friends of Hemlock Bluffs provided snacks and lunch for volunteers and REI provided t-shirts and breakfast. Work continues on the Children's Nature Trail, which recently received over $30,000 in donations. Recent features added include: a viewing scope, four interpretive signs, and small tables for children to interact and learn about nature in a safe environment. Boathouse Program Revenue +12.5% Thanks to our 433 volunteers who contributed 903 hours at a cost savings to the Town of over $20,832. Boathouse participation and program hours increased 24 percent compared to the previous season. The Spruce program hosted 120 projects this quarter with 612 volunteers that collected 2,803 pounds of litter and planted 395 trees town-wide.
