Critical Interventions Critical interventions are defined as medications or actions provided by Fire staff, that without, the patient's outcome would not have been optimal. (Medications include naloxone, epinephrine and glucose. Procedures include assisted ventilations, tourniquet application, CPR, chocking and defribrillation.) A cardiac arrest "save" is defined as a patient who recovers from a cardiac arrest with complete neurological functions intact upon discharge from the hospital. Fire staff have had 10 cardiac arrest during 2014. Did You Know? Fire Station #2 is 90 percent complete and expected to be finished December 2015. The value of property exposed to a fire related condition was $28 million with a loss of $257,950 for a save rate greater than 99 percent. Additionally, there has been one civilian injury and no deaths related to fire in this quarter. WakeMed Soccer Park Total Attendance: 83,967 The Soccer Park hosted a variety of events during the third quarter including 7 home matches for the Railhawks, 5 charity/cause runs, Wake County Public Schools Cross Country Kick Off Meets and NCSU Cross Country Challenge. The Raleigh Flyers Professional Ultimate Disc team played a home match at WakeMed, which drew 645 spectators.
