Emphasis is on total enjoyment with one-on-one instruction. Beginning to Draw using your Creative Right Brain A basic drawing class filled with fun exercises and projects designed for you to build confidence in your drawing abilities while using your creative right brain to "see" many options. Class sessions will focus on the essential elements of a drawing, contour lines, value, texture, composition and perspective, while exploring the use of a variety of dry media. In this introductory class, you will have fun practicing a variety of new decorative hand lettering styles to learn the art of calligraphy. Using the essential tools for lettering, you will use dip pens and india ink to design and apply new lettering styles to a note card, bookmark or other projects. The use of materials is included in the $3 supply fee due to the instructor at the first class.
