Day Trips Adventures in Wilmington Spend the day in this historic city by the coast. First enjoy a tour of one of the local historic treasures, followed by shopping along their beautiful streets that overlook the water. You'll then savor a catered lunch at a new downtown brewpub. The fun doesn't stop there as you will have a great seat for the play Mary Tudor, with a preshow presentation by a prominent Tudor historian. Mary Tudor is a powerful portrayal of legendary historical figures such as Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn and celebrates the richness of that era's language. If you enjoyed Wolf Hall on PBS, you'll love Mary Tudor! Henry's daughter Princess Mary, later notorious on the throne of England as "Bloody Mary," is an ill-starred teenager stranded between divorcing parents. Expect walking on uneven ground as well as stairs during the tour. Trip fee includes transportation, tour, lunch, speaker, and performance ticket; shopping will be on you.
