8 January–May 2016 Cary Senior Center Arts & Crafts All arts classes take place in 306 unless otherwise stated. Cherished Memories Join us for a free and artistic volunteer activity. We will be painting memory boxes for children who are coping with the stress of extended hospital stays and for families to preserve the memory of a lost child. All boxes will be donated to the UNC-CH Children's Hospital. All supplies will be provided. Leader: Carmen Prestemon 92060 3rd Saturday Monthly 9:30–11:30 a.m. Social Knitting Bring a project and join us for a relaxing afternoon of knitting and socializing. Share ideas and create items such as dishcloths, afghans, mittens and caps, which would make wonderful gifts. Help will be provided as needed. Location: Classroom 303 89211 Every Tuesday 12:30–1:50 p.m. FREE! FREE! A Arts & Crafts Floral Arranging Workshops Fresh flowers not only bring cheer to your home, they brighten your soul! Learn how to arrange fresh flowers with Patti Kiley. Bring your willingness to learn, all other materials are provided. Everyone takes home a fresh flower arrangement! Registration ends a week prior to the class due to supplies.
