Design a collection on Croquis figures and learn to draw basic technical flats. Practice altering a pattern to create a personal design and then pick a garment and fabric to sew one of your own designs. Supplies will be discussed in the first class. Coptic binding, developed by early Egyptians, dates to the second century AD. Coptic-bound books make great journals and drawing/sketching books and they are beautiful works of art.
