In this workshop, students will enjoy learning new hand-lettering styles and calligraphy fonts with an introduction to the tools of calligraphy: India ink, dip pen, and nibs. Apply your lettering skills to personalized notecards, bookmarks, and other decorative paper projects. Supplies are included with fees. Includes an orientation to the pottery studio, handbuilding equipment, glazes, studio safety, procedures, and wheel (for those with wheel experience). At the time of registration, course registrants will receive a guidebook from which the exam is taken.
