look what's new The cold days of winter will soon give way to springtime temperatures, bringing warmer outdoor fun for all! In the meantime, Cary Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources has all the best ways for you to beat the winter blues! From popular special events, to classes and programs of every kind, we will keep your spirits warm! Come dressed to play at one of the area's most popular wintertime events, Winter Wonderland at Bond Park. There will be snow, tubes, and plenty of laughter! A little later, the Town of Cary will host the 25th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, also at Bond Park, featuring the Easter Bunny, egg hunts for children of every age, and an entertaining magic show! And, don't forget to fly your kite at the Kite Festival as temperatures warm and spirits soar! The 23rd Annual Spring Daze Arts & Crafts Festival Cultural is second to none. This popular event features the area's finest artists, entertainment, and food. Other cultural arts events and festivals abound this season with the Jewish Cultural Festival and the Three Kings Day Parade in Downtown Cary. Your favorite outdoor concerts return with the longer, warmer days. The Starlight Concert Series is a lively line up of world music concerts that take place in the Page-Walker Arts & History Center gardens. The Spring Sertoma Series features bands and voices that fill the air inside Bond Park's Sertoma Amphitheatre. And, Koka Booth plays host to special concerts and celebrations this season. See pages 4-15 for more information about these special events. If that isn't enough to fill your calendar, throw in every kind of class, camp or program under the bright winter sun and you will be sure to laugh, learn, and play in Cary!
