REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org 123 SPECIAL INTERESTS PART TWO Babysitter Certification (age 11-17) Facilitated by a trained American Red Cross and American Safety and Health Institute instructor, this course covers general baby care, toddler and older children care, as well as health and safety skills (such as how to manage choking and rescue breathing). After the completion of the course, participants will be certified in babysitting. Location: Herbert C. This six-week course includes test-taking strategies and SAT math concepts. Possibly gain 100-200 points on the math section and get the best chance to be accepted to the colleges you wish to attend. Students will learn concepts, practice actual ACT math problems, learn ACT test-taking tips, and build their overall confidence in math. Location: Herbert C. Receive practical advice on key topics, including course selection for readiness; extracurricular activities; campus visits; PSAT/SAT/ACT exams; essays; letters of recommendation; and financial aid. Get organized with a calendar of actions organized according to grade level. Location: Herbert C.
