Participants program their vehicles along with the opponent's vehicle to drive on and off the track as they both compete to finish the race first. At the end of class, students take home a copy of the game they create! Kids will work in pairs and share a computer. Battle Track Workshop (age 7-10) Compete for the title of Battle Track Champion with LEGO ® ! Build a motorized jousting project that will take on other competitors on our monorail tracks. Students can let their imaginations run wild with designing, building, and testing different mechanisms until the right parts are combined into the ultimate battle track machine. Kids will collaborate with their Space State teams to create the safest and most effective community on the moon. This LEGO ® Robotics curriculum is designed to introduce kids to the world of building and programming robots. Kids will work in pairs and share a computer. Many times, we like to say the sky is the limit to what we can achieve. But for electronic game engineers, the limit is wherever they wish to stop. During this class, students learn how to create the classic Pong game. Kids will work in pairs and share a computer. Location: Bond Park Community Center Instructor: Engineering for Kids Fees: $117(R) $147(N) (4 classes) 91685 Sat Feb 6-27 1-3 p.m. Robotics Surgeons (age 8-10) Robot Surgeons curriculum is designed to introduce students to the world of not only building basic robots, but programming basic robots. Throughout this course, students will explore different ways in which a robot could be utilized in the medical field.Kids will work in pairs and share a computer.
