Enjoy dance, music, and crafts. This kid-focused festival is organized by the American Turkish Association of NC and Sister Cities Association of Cary and will feature stage performances by a wide range of children's dance groups, games, international food, and hands-on crafts activities. This is a great volunteer project for families, groups, and individuals. Select a spot in your neighborhood or join us at an existing site. Cary Road Race Saturday, April 16 | 8:30 a.m. Koka Booth Amphitheatre Pre-registration: $12 recreational, $15 competitive Race-Day: $15 recreational, $20 competitive The 38th Annual Cary Road Race is a family event that includes a 5K, a 10K and a 1-mile Fun Run. The course is a challenging route over rolling city asphalt streets and around the lake at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Registration opens December 1. To volunteer, call (919) 469-4363. Chatham Street Chowdown: Food Truck Rally Sunday, April 17| noon-4:30 p.m. | Free Chatham Street in Downtown Cary Join us along Chatham Street in Downtown Cary for our food truck rally! Food trucks plus beer and wine vendors will line the street with seating areas and music from local performers throughout the day.
