Using gameplay elements and characters inspired by the popular Minecraft video game. EV3: Robo Battles (age 7-10) Campers create, program, and control robots designed to perform challenges such as the SumoBots Challenge, Jousting Challenge, and the Catapult Challenge. Students use LEGO® Robotics and computers to learn principles of robotics, computer programming, and teamwork. Writing one! Video sensing allows campers to design and program their own video games and then test them by interacting with the program via webcam. Campers work together to create their own games, art, and musical instruments while exploring coding foundations. Kids learn and apply the concepts, tools and techniques of real chemists. Campers learn real lab techniques and safety procedures to mix crazy concoctions and chemical combinations. They experiment with super sticky stuff, explore glow-in-the-dark technology, mix potions, make slime, and grow crystals! Build LEGO X-Wings, AT-AT walkers, Pod Racers, Star Destroyers, Cloud Cities, Settlements, Fortresses, and other complex machines and structures from a galaxy far, far away.
