K-9 Activity
K-9 partner "Tayber" assisted the
State Bureau of Investigations and the
Drug Enforcement Agency in a joint
drug operation that seized 17 kilos of
cocaine. Tayber also assisted at a
drug search warrant which produced a
trafficking amount of heroin.
K-9 partner "Chase" located a
trafficking amount of heroin and
assisted a North Carolina State
Trooper with a traffic stop in which a
short foot chase occurred. During the
course of the foot pursuit the Trooper
lost his hand held radio. Chase was
able to conduct a successful article
search for the radio. Chase also
assisted with a vehicle sniff that
resulted in felony drug charges and
the seizure of $1,400.

cardiac arrest with complete
neurological functions intact upon
discharge from the hospital. In
calendar year 2014, there were
10 cardiac arrest saves by the
Cary Fire Department.
