Booth Amphitheatre is unlike any other venue in the area. Located among 14 acres of stately hardwoods and pines and beautifully situated next to Symphony Lake, the venue, along with the park where it is nestled, can only be described as magnificent! With a capacity of 7,000, patrons can enjoy the spacious lawn or a seat on the Crescent during performances or events. CONCERTS & EVENTS In addition to national touring acts, the performance season runs April through October and plays host to the nation's best touring acts! Artists in 2015 included Alabama Shakes, Robert Plant and The Pixies, Tedeschi Trucks, Garrison Keillor, and more! SUMMERFEST Booth Amphitheatre is the summer home to the North Carolina Symphony Summerfest Series weekends May 28 through July 9. From Grammy ® nominee Joey Alexander, Festival tributes to John Williams, and the music of David Bowie, come enjoy all of the family fun these performances have to offer. MOVIES BY MOONLIGHT On weeknights during the months of June, July, and August, patrons can enjoy a night out at the movies! Booth Amphitheatre features an outdoor film series, "Movies by Moonlight," for the low price of $5 for adults and free admission for kids 12 & under.
