Archery Intro to Archery (age 13 & up) Come learn the basics of archery! Learn how to set up a bow and and other fundamental skills, including shooting, safety, and scoring. All equipment will be provided. No prior experience in needed. For additional information concerning size and creel limits or to purchase a license, visit the NC Wildlife Resources Commission website at www.ncwildlife.org. Youth Fishing League (age 10–17) Sign up for this summer fishing league and hone your angling skills. Members of US Angling will coach and instruct the group throughout the summer. Bait and cane poles provided (while supplies last). Location: Fred G. Bond Metro Park, Boathouse Instructor: Bryan Craddock Fees: $18(R) $23(N) (1 class) 95006 Mon Jun 6 9 a.m.–noon Canoeing Canoeing for Teens (age 11–18) Learn basic paddling and safety skills for tandem canoeing in a short, introductory course that covers personal preparation, equipment choices, and strokes essential to efficient paddling in a Bond Lake-type environment. Approximately half the time will be spent on the water. Canoe rental is included. Location: Fred G.
