Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied on the boat by an adult and wear a personal flotation device (PFD). All participants renting sailboats, canoes, or kayaks must wear a PFD at all times. Prior experience is required for sailboat rentals. BOAT RENTAL HOURS Hours of operation are subject to change. April–May & September–October Weekends & Holidays 10 a.m.–6 p.m. June–August Daily 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Holidays (July 4) 7 a.m.–6 p.m. Closed weekdays with the start of Wake County traditional school year.
