This program covers all strokes, including forehand, backhand, volley, overhead, serve, as well as the rules of the game and positioning for doubles and singles. All strokes are covered—forehand, backhand, volley, overhead, and serve—as well as positioning for singles and doubles. Students need to have an NTRP rating of 2.5 or 3.0 to register for this class. INTRODUCTORY TENNIS LEAGUES Introductory tennis leagues are for players new to the game interested in a less competitive and a more social format of play. USTA LEAGUE PLAY The Cary area has its own USTA Adult and Senior Leagues. Leagues include spring team leagues, summer Mixed Doubles and fall Combo Doubles.
