14 June-August 2016 Cary Senior Center Computer A Computer Computer Skills 1 (for Windows 10) Let's explore and learn the basics of Windows 10 in this essential class for students with Windows 10! Flash Drive needed. Fees: $25(R) $30(N) (5 classes) 93866 M-F Jun 20-24 9:30 a.m.-noon 93867 M-F Jul 11-15 9:30 a.m.-noon Computer Skills 2 (for Windows 10) This course will teach you how to organize and manipulate all kinds of files (documents, pictures, music, etc.) on Windows 10 so that you can easily retrieve them when you use your computer the next time! You will also learn how programs and other information are organized on your computer. A student Flash Drive is required. Fees: $25(R) $30(N) (5 classes) 93863 M/T/W/Th/F (4 days plus one!) Aug 8-12 9:30 a.m.-noon APPLE COMPUTER These programs usually take place in Classroom 302. Introduction to iOS: The Basics Although devices similar to these iOS devices are made by several manufacturers, this course will focus on products from Apple (iPad, iPhone & iPod Touch). This course will show you how to set up these devices and provide a brief overview of the many applications (apps) available. Please bring your device. Explore and Upgrade Windows 10 Free Windows 10 is designed to please both touch and mouse users. It's also designed to be intuitive for users of both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, incorporating the "best of both worlds" to enhance your experience and help you be more productive. This seminar will introduce you to the basic look and feel of the new operating system, provide an overview of new and enhanced features and offer you information to upgrade your Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 OS to Windows 10. First order of business will be exploring ideas for activities, such as day trip photo shoots, Photoshop techniques, picture critiques, and Gear news and discussions.
