9 Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Nature Education Hemlock Nature Quest (age 13-15) If you think your child has seen everywhere at Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve, think again! These programs journey to far corners of the preserve on a quest to find nature rarely seen. Dress for the weather and off-trail conditions. Bring your sense of adventure! (HNQ participants are eligible to volunteer as program assistants for our younger nature programs.) Bond Metro Park, Boathouse Instructor: Tony Forte Fees: $42(R) $55(N) (3 classes) GIRLS ONLY SESSION (age 13–17) 95025 Sun Jun 12, Jul 10, Aug 7 3–4:30 p.m. Canoeing (age 11–18) Learn basic paddling and safety skills for tandem canoeing in a shor course that covers personal preparation, equipment choices, and strokes essential to efficient paddling in a Bond Lake-type environment.
