Criminal Investigations Activity Crime analysts continue to focus on ways to combat domestic violence, computer hacking, cybercrimes, and home invasions. The Police Department works with neighboring municipalities, other states and federal agencies on these issues. The average case load per Criminal Investigations Detective is 20 cases. Community Services Unit Through concerted, intentional conversations with citizens, by both Community Services Unit and patrol, an increase was noted in residents taking advantage of the Town's residential assessment program aimed at combating burglary trends throughout Town. Additionally, pro- active information sharing through nextdoor.com or more traditional community watch email lists, continues to create educational opportunities within communities that may be impacted by crime trends. *CPS = child protective services
