Creating ACTIVE Retirement Years (919) 469-4081 45 Fun & Games Military Mah Jongg The Military version of this ancient Chinese game is both fun and challenging. Developed so that Air Force spouses all over the world could play by the same rules as they were transferred to new locations, it varies a little from the traditional game in that it is slower paced and easy-going. Rule books with hands are available to borrow in the classroom. Rule books do not change yearly. If you have your own playing set, you may want to bring it. NOT a "class" but an opportunity to play and hone your skills. If you already play "traditional" MJ, we can help you learn the differences so you can enjoy this version also. 94233 Every Monday 5- 8 p.m. (no meeting 9/5, 12/26) Open Jam Bring your acoustic instrument and desire to meet others who love folk music! This weekly group is open to anyone with an interest in music and having a great time. Singers and audience members are welcome as well!
