National Public Lands Day (age 6 & up with caretaker) Join with your friends, family, and neighbors to maintain the trails and resources at Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve. 97590 Sat Sep 24 9:30 a.m.-noon Trail Maintenance (age 16 & up) Assist staff with mulching and other trail improvements. 97589 Sun Oct 16 2–4 p.m. 97606 Sat Nov 19 2–4 p.m. 97579 Sun Dec 11 2–4 p.m. Junior Naturalist (age 5–8 with caregiver) Spend quality time with your child in programs that encourage participants to develop their naturalist skills and their understanding of local nature. Through outdoor investigations in the Preserve, participants will become better acquainted with plants and wildlife. A parent attends with each child and the fee covers both.
