This program combines practices, live ball drills, and match play in a 1½-hour timeframe, allowing the player to quickly reinforce the new skills they have learned. Stroke development, court positioning, and basic singles/doubles strategy will be covered. Serving and match scorekeeping will also be a component of the program. Coaching staff will supervise match play. The emphasis is on skill development, fun, teamwork, and friendly match-play competition. Level of play ranges from players just starting tennis all the way up to the advanced tournament player. Seasons are typically 6 to 8 weeks long and include regularly scheduled practices, matches, and an end-of-season pizza party.
