Tots/Aces Tennis Camps (age 4–8) A 30-minute camp for youth that emphasizes basic tennis motor skills. Participants will learn hand-eye coordination, footwork drills, and stroke production. The Tennis Park staff has created a comprehensive pathway for children of all ages and abilities that provides the necessary skills, introducing them to an active lifestyle through the sport of tennis. The Cary Tennis Park Player Development Program emphasizes competition and training formats tailored to the age of the child. Each class listed in this section will incorporate the following four components: • Independent racquet and ball coordination: Participants will work individually on eye-hand coordination skills. • Cooperative training: Participants will work together to develop basic rally skills. • Technical skill development: Fundamental stroke development and footwork skills will be taught. • Interactive games and play.
