38 REGISTER ONLINE: classweb.townofcary.org VISUAL ARTS PART TWO Adult Arts Arts: General Cast Concrete Leaves (age 14 & up) Using real leaves as a mold, you will create leaves from concrete to use as home and garden ornaments. Leaves will be cast in the first class, cured during the week, and then painted in the second class. Some real leaves will be provided but students may also bring their own leaves. Supplies included. Workshops are design for beginners. All supplies are included. There is a one-hour break for lunch between noon and 1 p.m. for each full day workshop. COLORED PENCILS Colored pencils are widely available, portable, and relatively inexpensive. Drawings can be rich in color and after practice with the medium the drawings can resemble a painting.
