C-Tran
On June 14 at the North Carolina
Public Transportation Association
Conference, C-Tran was awarded
top honors in the state for the best
safety record for fixed-route transit
systems operating under 1 million
miles of service. C-Tran recorded
zero preventable and non-
preventable accidents in calendar
year 2015. C-Tran's Door-to-Door
system also placed second for
safety in the state for demand
response transit systems operating
under 750,000 miles of service.
