USA Rugby 7's National Championships brought over 60 men's and women's college rugby teams for 3 days of competition to the Soccer Park. In addition, the NC State Games and NC High School Athletic Association both held their lacrosse showcase and championships at the Park. WakeMed Soccer Park @ WakeMed Attendance for the RailHawks was up slightly from the same time last year. The RailHawks finished the spring season with a 4-2-4 season, finishing 7th out of 11 teams. 57,436 attendees USA Baseball National Training Complex Co-hosted the NCAA Division II National Championship for the 9th consecutive year Hosted 28 different high school and collegiate teams from April to June. USA Baseball's Tournament of Stars was held for the 10th consecutive year, consisting of the top 122 high school aged players from around the nation. To celebrate the 10th anniversary, the Town and USA Baseball worked together to create a food truck rodeo and Home Run Derby as part of the tournament. Cary Tennis Park The ACC Men's and Women's Tennis Championships were held in April. This is the 10th ACC Championship held in Cary since 2005. ACC coaches, players and elementary school children participated in a community outreach event. The tournament was live- streamed on ESPN with tennis legend and television personality Patrick McEnroe on hand for the play-by-play commentary. Construction began in June on expanding the facility to include seven covered courts, which will allow the Town to offer year-round play and continue scheduled tournaments during inclement weather.
